Anza-Borrego Desert — Reaching for Sky
The desert has something for you... I was hiking toward an oasis in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in Southern California when I stopped in the heat — nearly 100 degrees — and looked up. The towering cactus arms were reaching in every direction against a wide, cloudless sky, ancient and unbothered by the scorching air around them. I raised my camera and shot straight up into them. That photograph became this scarf — a reminder that the most extraordinary things are sometimes directly above you, if you think to look.
