The strap is part solid brass chain with an antique brass finish and then leather.  The strap is adjustable with snaps

Dimensions: 10.5” x 10.5”. Strap is 26” from shoulder. 

A Note about Elk and Deer Leather: These hides often have scars, and odd scarring or irregularities.  These are considered to be a normal part of the hide and part of its appeal.  I have found that water stains typically dry to be unnoticeable and even clear oil will be absorbed and disappear.  That said, extra care should be given to these hides as they are more susceptible to permanent stains.
