Rosebud Shoulder Bag — Multiple Styles
Named for East Rosebud Creek, Carbon County, Montana
I hiked the Beaten Path once — the epic trail that follows East Rosebud Creek up through the Beartooths to Fossil Lake and over towards Cooke City. That climb is where this bag got her name. I hand cut and hand sew every Rosebud from start to finish, no shortcuts, sized to carry what you actually need and shaped to sit close to the body. A bison leather gusset gives her structure without the bulk, and a hidden magnetic snap keeps her closed without a single visible hardware piece breaking up the leather. The chain-and-leather strap — solid brass-tone hardware laced into a leather shoulder strap, so she wears soft but holds her shape.
Rosebud comes in a few different leather personalities, and no two hides are ever quite the same:
• LEATHER OPTIONS: 1. Hand-tooled floral embossed cowhide, 2. Italian vegetable-tanned camo leather, 3. embossed crocodile-pattern cowhide, or goat hair-on-hide
• DIMENSIONS: 12”L x 8.5”H x 3”D
• STRAP: Chain and leather shoulder strap
• GUSSET: Bison leather
• HARDWARE: Hidden magnetic snap closure
• CONSTRUCTION: 100% hand cut, hand sewn — no two exactly alike
Because each hide is one of a kind — especially the hair-on-hide and croc-embossed styles — the grain, markings, and color depth on your Rosebud will be unique to that piece.
