Rosebud Shoulder Bag- Alligator and Cow
I hiked the Beaten Path once — the epic trail that follows East Rosebud Creek up through the Beartooths to Fossil Lake. That climb is where this bag got her name, and this one’s got a little more drama to match the mountains she’s named for. I paired a genuine alligator front with a black cowhide back, then and hand-stitched the whole thing with a contrasting thread that picks up the turquoise in the alligator. It’s a small detail, but it gives her some personality.
I hand cut and hand sew every Rosebud from start to finish, no shortcuts, sized to carry what you actually need and shaped to sit close to the body. A bison leather gusset gives her structure without the bulk, and a hidden magnetic snap keeps her closed without a single visible hardware piece breaking up the leather. The chain-and-leather strap is nickel plated solid brass hardware with a leather shoulder strap, so she wears soft but holds her shape.
